Just a quick reminder. End of Season Party tomorrow. No lessons. Parents will still need to pay entry. Club will supply Pizza (halal option), cake and slides for kids.

Reminder we will not be running Term 4. Our volunteers are having a well deserved break

Sometimes we all forget the real reason we make an effort. ❤️

Today, an 8-year-old looked at me and said:

“You made my dreams come true, because now I can go swimming.”

And just like that, I was reminded exactly why we do what we do.

It’s not always about the awards, the recognition, the hours we put in or the hard work behind the scenes.

It’s about giving children opportunities.
It’s about inclusion.
It’s about helping someone believe that something they once thought was out of reach is actually possible.

Moments like this make every bit of effort worth it. 💙

This is why we keep showing up.
This is why community matters.
And this is why I am so proud to be part of something that can make a real difference in a child’s life. 🏊‍♀️❤️

JB was a hero for the different. He always asked about our club and what he could do to help. He is greatly missed.

Today we remember John Baker AM ESM, and the extraordinary legacy he left on Surf Life Saving Australia.

In honour of JB’s unwavering commitment to our movement and his passion for helping members grow and achieve their best, we are proud to announce the John Baker AM ESM Fellowship.

The Fellowship will support the development of future leaders, ensuring JB’s dedication to service, leadership and lifelong learning continues to inspire generations of surf lifesavers.

More details on the John Baker AM ESM Fellowship will be shared soon.

Dont forget our AGM is tomorrow so we wont be in the water but we will be opening registrations for next season and handing out our medallions and trophy's. So please come along to secure your spot for next season and celebrate the season just gone

Medallions will be given out after AGM. Registration forms will be handed out too 🙂
