Brompton Community Garden Community Garden on Kaurna Land in Brompton, South Australia, with membership open to residents of the Hindmarsh Ward of the City of Charles Sturt.

Brompton Community Garden is located in the heart of Brompton on Green Street. We have an active group of members who enjoy gardening and the socialising it brings. We hold working bees, open days and fund raising events. We're grateful for the support of the Charles Sturt Council. The garden has 46 plots in total (most are 5m x 3m). Our members lease plots on an annual basis and membership is open to local residents. We are currently working on adding raised wicking beds and making the garden more accessible. It’s been another successful Spring Fair!

Thank you to everyone that came along. We hope you enjoyed yourself. There was great live music, yummy food, lively conversation and the sun was shining.

Congratulations to our raffle winners - Audrey, Leah, Andrew, Chrissie, Sophie and Christian. With thanks to the businesses that donated the fantastic prizes including Bowden IGA- Plant 4 Bowden Cellars Hellbound Haigh's Chocolates and The Brickmakers Arms

Big thanks to all the garden members that helped with the plant, scone, pizza, bbq, preserves/cakes, drinks and raffle stalls. You made today a success along with everyone that has helped behind the scenes. We are a winning combination!

Special thanks to Pippa, Cathy and everyone associated with 19 on Green. We could not have this event without you.

And last but not least thank you City Of Charles Sturt for your ongoing support of our community event.
