About us

The Kindness Collective is a bunch of Barossa mums who have come together with a shared passion for helping others navigate through the sometimes challenging early years of parenthood.

We are a not for profit group of volunteers who have experienced a diverse range of parenting trials and triumphs. These include:

Postnatal Depression

Postnatal Anxiety

Post traumatic stress disorder

Relationship issues

Juggling return to work

Relocating to a new area with a young family

We provide a one on one non-judgemental, strictly confidential listening ear and our aim is to help connect you with the other support services available in our community.

We’re here to help you realise you are not alone, because sometimes a good chat with a sympathetic listener can make all the difference.

Our members all have current National Police checks, child safe screening, and mental health first aid training.

We are not social workers, counsellors, or trained health professionals, just other mums who have been where you are now.

The first step is to contact us. You can do this either by sending us a Facebook message or by emailing us on [email protected].

We will then match you up with a Kindness Collective volunteer. We will get in touch with you as soon as we can to set up a time and place to meet with you. Then one of our volunteers can come to your house for a cuppa and a chat or we can meet you (and your little one/s) at a local café or park.
