What a wonderful response we have had from the local community to our Food Drive at Bayside Village Shopping Centre Glenelg.
It was lovely to see PDG Jerry Casburn who came along to offer his support. As well as our local MP’s. Sarah Andrews and Toby Priest who also printed our flyers.
A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this such a successful project that helps so many in our community.

The Rotary Club of Holdfast Bay will hold their Winter Food Drive at Bayside Village Glenelg on Friday & Saturday 29th & 30th of May between 10am and 4pm
We will be collecting non perishable food stuffs and toiletries
The Rotary team will be outside Woolworths and collecting to aid people doing it tough in the local area
Every donation will be appreciated and put to good use

An update on some of our club’s recent activities.

Together with Inner Wheel we had a very successful Fashion Show. We raised over $3000 for our respective charities. A wonderful effort by all involved. A huge thank you to all who came along and to Fella Hamilton for presenting their Autumn Collection.

Recent speakers have included Dr Fiona Tester, Clinical Psychologist talking about Ageing and Mental Health and Professor Mike Steer on the Algal Bloom. Both presentations gave us lots to think about.

Members Eva and Anne represented our club at the recent Retirement Living and Senior Lifestyle Expo.
