☘️🎶 What a night at the Irish Club on Friday! 🇮🇪🍻

It’s been at least 10 years since Gary Óg last graced the club, but one thing’s for sure – he’s still got it!

What a brilliant night of music, singing and craic, with Gary belting out the tunes and the crowd loving every minute of it!

A massive thanks to Gary for a fantastic night and to everyone who came along and made it such a great atmosphere.

Here’s a little taste of the craic for those who missed it! ☘️💚

🎃☘️ Did you know Halloween has its roots in Ireland? 🇮🇪👻

Long before trick-or-treating, Halloween began with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain (pronounced Sow-in), marking the end of the harvest and the beginning of winter. And what better place to celebrate those Irish traditions than at the Adelaide Irish Club!

We’re inviting all our little ghosts, witches and goblins along for a fun-filled afternoon of Irish Halloween traditions, culture and craic! 🎃

A Little Piece of Irish Theatre Coming to Adelaide! 🇮🇪

We’re delighted to share a rare opportunity to experience The Rising of the Moon, a classic Irish play by Lady Gregory, as part of the Back2Back Short Show Festival.

First performed in Dublin in 1907, this wonderful piece of Irish theatre explores Irish identity through humour, music and storytelling.

Even more special, the play is directed by Danny Persse, who has a family connection to Lady Gregory herself! With only two previous performances in Australia, this is a lovely opportunity to experience a piece of our Irish cultural heritage.

☘️ GARY ÓG – LIVE IN ADELAIDE! ☘️

This is going to be a huge night at the Adelaide Irish Club! 🇮🇪🔥

One of the defining voices of modern Irish rebel and folk music, Gary Óg, returns to Australia and kicks off his 2026 tour right here in Adelaide on Friday 9 October.

Hailing from the Gorbals in Glasgow, Gary has been at the forefront of Irish rebel music for more than 30 years, first with Éire Óg and then as a solo artist, building a massive following across Ireland, Scotland, Europe, America and Australia.

Armed with that unmistakable voice, acoustic guitar and a catalogue of songs steeped in Irish history, pride and tradition, Gary’s gigs are the kind where the crowd becomes part of the show and every chorus comes roaring back at the stage. 🇮🇪🎶
