Step into the role of a handler and guide a trainee Assistance Dog through a specially designed obstacle course. With support from our trainers, experience how dogs develop confidence, focus, and environmental awareness - essential skills for working in the community.

An interactive, hands-on session designed for Leos to learn basic dog handling skills under the guidance of professional trainers. Participants will gain insight into communication, training cues, and the responsibility involved in working with Assistance Dogs.

See firsthand how Medical Assistance Dogs are trained using scent detection. This interactive session demonstrates how Diabetic Alert Dogs are taught to recognise and respond to scent changes - and the life-changing impact this has for people living with diabetes.
