The Adelaide Kurdish Youth Society was founded in July 2012 and was the first ever of its kind in Australia. The Organisation has become the most successful politically independent and not-for-profit Kurdish Youth Organisation. The Organisation enables the Kurdish youth to work with the wider Australian community to preserve and promote the Kurdish identity, cultural values and proud heritage, thr

ough our core values of promoting multiculturalism and harmony in South Australia. Integral to our organisation is a strong set of values and beliefs. AKYS believes in providing young people with a rich set of life skills, values and attitudes that can be relied on in whatever endeavor our members pursue beyond our organisation.
