We still have jobs to fill across our two-day race weekend, and this time it's not just marshals — there are a range of roles on the portal, including RACE DIRECTOR!

If you're coming to watch, bringing a rider or just keen to get involved, we'd love you to grab a spot before race weekend.

Every role filled in advance is one less job our volunteer committee needs to find someone for on the day — and helps the whole weekend run smoothly.

🙌 COMING TO WATCH? COME AND BE PART OF IT!

We'd love to see plenty of people out at Fox Fast cheering our racers on — and we'd really love to have our marshal positions sorted well before race weekend.

If you're a parent, family member, friend or supporter who's already planning to be there, please consider putting your hand up for a marshal spot (and signing up in advance!).

Knowing those positions are covered before the weekend makes an enormous difference to our volunteer committee and helps us get racing underway smoothly.

You don't need to be a racer to help — come along, get involved and have one of the best views of the action while you're at it!

🏁 **WHAT A WEEKEND!**

That's a wrap on another great weekend of State Series racing!

A huge congratulations to all our riders and podium winners — and a special shout-out to everyone who raced their first State Series event this weekend. Well done on taking that next step in your riding! 👏

And a massive THANK YOU to everyone who pitched in and helped across the weekend. Whether you volunteered, marshalled, helped set up, packed down or simply jumped in where something needed doing — it all contributed to a weekend that ran incredibly smoothly, and we really appreciate it. 🙌

Look out for photographers posting photos available in the next few days - thanks also to them for standing track side all weekend to get some great shots for you all.

Normally we'd be opening entries tonight, but after two full days of racing we're giving our committee a well-earned breather. 😅

🙌 TWO DAYS OF RACING = A LOT OF VOLUNTEERS!

A huge thank you to the amazing humans who've already signed up! We still have plenty of spots to fill, particularly marshal positions across both days.

Our committee simply can't cover every job needed to safely run a two-day race weekend. Having positions filled in advance helps us plan, get marshals into place and keep racing on schedule.

RACE WEEKEND REMINDERS

🏷️ RACE PLATE
Already been issued one this season? Bring it! You WILL be charged for a replacement if you need one!

⛑️ HELMET
Bring it to the rego desk for checking. Yes, you will have to go back to your car if you forget it. Highly experienced + senior riders - this is you too. Please help role model appropriate behaviour to our juniors.

👨‍👩‍👧 UNDER 18?
A parent/guardian must be present for the entire event — **both days**.

🚵 SATURDAY AND SUNDAY PRACTICE IS COMPULSORY
You must complete at least one practice run on Saturday and at least one on Sunday to race. No practice both days = no Sunday race.

⏱️ TIMING CHIP
Issued Sunday morning, visit us at Rego desk, don't forget to hand it back at the end of your race, $100 replacement fee if not returned or lost.

🚫🐕 NO DOGS AT EAGLE
Dogs are not permitted at Eagle MTB Park, so please leave them at home.

A little preparation helps everyone spend more time doing what we're actually there for — racing bikes. 🤘

The countdown is on...

It's been a little while since Round 3 at Angaston… now it's almost time for Round 4 of the Inside Line State Series.

For Round 4 we head to Eagle MTB Park - entries opening on EntryBoss this Sunday at 7:00pm.

Thanks for your patience crew! Under 17's A Practice list now available - thanks to our volunteer Timing Team for getting this to us!

Thank you to everyone who has jumped onto the Volunteer portal and signed up early to help out at Angaston!!! We still have plenty of spots to fill for the weekend.

The more roles we fill before race day:
✅ the smoother the event runs
✅ less scrambling on the day
✅ the more our volunteer crew can actually enjoy the weekend too

Because if spots stay empty, the committee end up filling them (or wrangling in people) while also trying to run the event and support their loved ones who are racing!

This weekend especially the committee crew is a bit light on. Caravan Crew legend Leonie is going to be absolutely flat out:
📋 regos
📻 caravan comms
🙌 managing and supporting volunteers
☕ coordinating coffee deliveries to our superstar Commissaire

Not sure what the volunteer jobs actually involve? Here’s a quick rundown of the roles we still need help filling:

🏁 Marshall
Help keep riders safe and get one of the best views of the racing action.

🐈 Start Controller (“Cat Herder”)
Release riders from the start line so the timing crew can focus on race management. So fun... so organised chaos

🚲 Transport Loader
Help load bikes onto trailers for uplift. Not hard — and you’ll casually handle more money in bike form than most people ever will

🚙 Shuttle 4WD Driver
Just a normal car licence needed this round. Tow bikes up the hill while riders use their legs. BONUS: one of the few jobs where you stay dry if weather hits.

⏱️ Timing Helper (Sunday Afternoon)
Help remove transponders at the finish line and watch riders roll in grinning and celebrating with their mates

Volunteering is honestly one of the best parts of the weekend:

🤘 supporting riders and families
🤘 being part of the crew
