It was a wonderful day at the Carer’s Expo for MNDSA Volunteer and Community Engagement Coordinator, Bea, who was delighted to be joined by Carers SA CEO, Julia Overton, Carers SA Chair, Tony Simmons, along with members of our MND community, Ross, Antonia and Rosa 💙

The expo provided a fantastic opportunity for carers to learn about available services and supports, connect with service providers, discuss their caring needs with friendly professionals, and enjoy a range of wellbeing activities. Most importantly, it brought people together to share experiences, build connections and strengthen support networks.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped celebrate the incredible contribution of carers in our community 💙

A wonderful day connecting in Murray Bridge.

Our team spent time with the Murrayland Migrant Resource Centre, part of the Australian Migrant Resource Centre, sharing information about Carers, Carers SA and the support available through Carer Gateway.

A big thank you to the Murrayland Migrant Resource Centre for bringing everyone together and for the warm welcome.

This National Carers Week, Carers SA is hosting a suite of FREE online seminars designed to build Carer awareness, strengthen recognition and connect Carers with the right support.

Carers are everywhere, in our workplaces, health services, schools and communities, but they are not always recognised or connected with support.

Across National Carers Week, we’re offering a range of practical online sessions for service providers, health professionals, educators and Carers themselves.

Whether you work alongside Carers, support them through your service, or are a Carer yourself, there’s a session for you.
