Aussie Bread Tags for Wheelchairs

We have been able to fund four more wheelchairs in South Africa : Cecil, Marilyn, Petrus and Sylvia are the recipients. That takes our tally to 167 wheelchairs.
Marilyn's family wrote to express their gratitude, saying how happy she is to be able to move around and feel more independent, and how it has made such a change to her day to day routine.

Just a reminder that all our collection points nationally will only be accepting tags until the end of this month. You can see the full list and map of collection points on our website https://ozbreadtagsforwheelchairs.org.au/
You can post tags to us at PO Box 1164, Kensington Gardens, SA 5068 until the end of August.
Just plastic please, no cardboard tags.

Victor in South Africa has received his wheelchair. We have now provided 163 wheelchairs and collected 17.8 tonnes of plastic bread tags for recycling. Go team!

We are getting lots of tags by mail at the moment - thank you!
If you are posting tags, we ask you to consider the environment with your packaging. Please use paper based mailers - Auspost have several options. We don’t want to be dealing with one type of plastic waste and generating more plastic waste in the process.

We are now registered with container deposit schemes in all states, so you can donate your refund to us when you take 10c containers to your local recycling station:

Lots of people go the extra mile for us, but Louis has gone thousands of miles! He has been collecting bread tags in Singapore for quite a while and today has dropped 3kg of tags off at our collection point at the Adelaide City Library. Thank you Louis!
Don't forget - your tags need to be dropped at a collection point by 30 June this year or posted to us by 31 August.

Suzie is picking up tags again on her travels.
She’ll be in Werribee 9 and 10 March and then passing through Morwell, Warragul, Traralgon, Sale, Bairnsdale, Orbost, Bombala and Cooma on 18 March.
