Weโ€™re hosting a free, come-as-you-are Craft & Mend Session this Saturday from 10:00 AM โ€“ 11:30 AM during the One Planet Market.

If you have clothes that need patching, a WIP (work-in-progress) project that needs attention, or just want to pick up a few mending tips from local makers, bring your materials along and join the table!

Spring has sprung! ๐ŸŒธ the wildlflowers are blooming, the birds are singing and the sun is shining โ˜€๏ธ Here at One Planet Market, spring is one of our favourite seasons as it means plenty of fresh produce, hours spent in the garden planting and looking after seedlings, and watching new life begin to blossom.

Our September market will be a wonderful celebration of community and sustainability. A callout to all gardeners ๐Ÿ“ข if you have surplus produce, please bring it along to the Swap and Share or Local Produce stalls. The more you bring, the more there is to choose from! Produce swaps work better when many people contribute ๐Ÿ’š Sally's Trees will be at the market with her great range of fruit trees, perfect for your spring garden.

We also have a very special workshop this Saturday!! Our spring craft circle will be a very laid-back and relaxed session. Everyone is invited to bring their craft projects and work on them together. Whether you are halfway through knitting a new scarf for your relative, painting a watercolour of your favourite outdoor spot, or embroidering something, bring it along! We had a very small group at Saturday's workshop on Buttons and Seams, but everyone learned how to sew a button, we had a go at a few different methods to repair a seam, and even tried embroidery, just for fun.
