2026 STATE CRITERIUM CHAMPIONSHIPS 8th FEB

Online late entries are still open until this Saturday 7th Feb for our State Championships event.
Late nominations cost only $25.
To nominate click on southernvalescc.org.au/nominate/

Please note riders can also roll up and pay on the day with cash or card at the Registration Table. Cost still only $25

2026 STATE CRITERIUM CHAMPIONSHIPS

Entries are now open for this State Championships event on Sunday 8th Feb.
Entries will close at 9pm Thursday 5th Feb. Entry fee is only $20. We require nominations in by Thursday evening so able to arrange medals to be presented on the day of the race.
Late nominations will be open until midday Saturday 7th Feb. Cost $25. However, in this instance medals may not be available on the day of the race.
The preferred method to nominate is click on southernvalescc.org.au/nominate/
However, riders can pay on the day with cash or card at the Registration Table if necessary. Cost $25

If required MYLAPS transponders will be available at no cost to riders at Registration Table
The Registration Table will be located north side of Grandstand.

The Victoria Park / Pakapakanthi Criterium track will be officially available for warm-ups from 0815.
Spare wheels can be stored near Timing van parked out front of grandstand
All riders must present themselves at the Assembly Area (North end of track) 5 minutes before the start of the race so Race Referee can give Rider Briefing.
It is a rolling start from here (Assembly Area) into a Neutral Zone to Start line out front of Grandstand. Race can start in earnest once Start line is crossed.
The short track will be used unless otherwise advised. Large track length 1.35 km, Short track length 1.15 km.

Racing will commence with first riders away at 9 am. Please check Start List for your specific Age group start time at southernvalescc.org.au/start-list/

Victoria Park Wednesday night crits are on this 4th Feb. All you budding racers are most welcome.

Upcoming planned schedule is;
Feb 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
Mar 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th

SVCC will host Wednesday criterium racing for as long as riders support us.

All riders must register before racing and be prepared to present their current AVCC licence.
Entry fee is $15, payable on day by cash or card at Registration Table.
If required MYLAPS transponders will be available at no cost to riders at Registration Table
The Registration Table will be located north side of Grandstand.

The Victoria Park / Pakapakanthi Criterium track will be officially available for warm-ups from 1700.
Riders to assembly at the start line no later than 5 minutes before the scheduled start time for race briefing by Referee.

Racing will commence on each Wednesday at;
1745 F Grade 25 minutes + 2 laps
1750 E Grade 30 mins + 2 laps
1755 D Grade 35mins + 2 laps
1800 C Grade 40 mins + 2 laps
1805 B Grade 40 mins + 2 laps
1810 A Grade 45 mins + 2 laps

Our apologies for any inconvienance, but due to a Adelaide City Council booking clash this coming Sunday’s 18th January Blackchrome Series Race 2 has unfortunately been rescheduled to the following Sunday 25th January.
We understand this date is a long weekend and clashes with TDU for which we apologise once again.

Coming this Wednesday 14th Jan is another short, intense, adrenaline-fuelled and highly tactical form of bike racing on our iconic Victoria Park / Pakapakanthi Criterium Track.
