Dare 2 Dream Foundation

Registration of the Dare2Dream Foundation occurred in 2011 although we have been supporting projects to help the most disadvantaged children in India for many years. The name chosen reflects our mission which is to:
· To identify underprivileged communities that may require assistance
· To empower these communities with knowledge, skills and resources to improve quality of life
·

To establish and support self-help development projects and programs in the communities
· To achieve sustainability through the involvement of local members of the community
· To establish links and partnership between individuals and communities in Australia and overseas
· To promote awareness of and celebrate the diversity between communities as well as commonalities

So in a practical way we hope to make dreams of a better future become reality for disadvantaged children and adults and hence the name encapsulates the essence of our organisation. Support of the Indian Centre for Integrated Development projects in India has been occurring since 2007 and since then we have contributed approximately $300,000 to projects much of this in helping to rebuild and support the Yuva Jyothi children’s home in Nagpur and community self help project in Bangalore and Nagpur.
