A big, early morning out the front of FedEx sites in Adelaide and Darwin. With job security on the line, members are voting NO to FedEx’s dodgy deal. The company needs to come back to the negotiating table with a fair offer.

Bus drivers play a key role in connecting our communities. However, as the industry struggles to attract and retain drivers, we must improve standards across the network.

That’s why our plan to negotiate a single agreement for all Adelaide Metro bus companies is so important. It’s an opportunity to raise standards and build a better industry for drivers and our community.

Today we reached a major milestone in our campaign for a better bus industry, lodging our Multi-Enterprise Agreement application with the Fair Work Commission.

If approved, drivers across Torrens Transit, SouthLink and Busways will be able to negotiate together for better conditions, pay and safety standards.

This follows months of organising and strong member support for one agreement across the industry. Thanks to everyone who has played a part in getting us here!

The TWU was out supporting FedEx workers who walked off the job for two hours this morning after FedEx failed to guarantee protections against AI and automation and continued down the path of replacing secure jobs with low-cost contracting.

FedEx has also cancelled negotiations and tried to push through a deal workers have already rejected. Today's action sends a clear message: enough is enough ✊

A huge win for TWU members at Linfox! 👏

By standing together, members have secured an in-principle agreement delivering a 10% base rate increase over three years, an additional 1% in productivity payments, stronger protections, improved conditions and enhanced job security provisions across the board.

This victory was hard fought and achieved through the determination of members who stood united, put pressure on the company and lodged a Protected Action Ballot alongside workers across the industry ✊

Just 15 days to go until our Delegates Conference 2026!

We're looking forward to welcoming our delegates from across the transport industry in South Australia and the Northern Territory for a great day of celebrating our achievements and discussing our 2026 campaign.

Delegates are the lifeblood of our Union, standing up for workers' rights, supporting their colleagues and driving positive change in their workplaces every day.

We're proud to have the support of Team Super for this year's conference.

Can't wait to see everyone there!

Members across Team Global Express yards met this week for report back meetings following the company's failure to address workers' claims for fair pay and stronger job security.

It's great to see members are united and ready to stand and fight for an agreement that protects their future, their conditions and their voice at work!
