TWU delegates from Torrens Transit, SouthLink and Busways gathered again last Friday to continue discussions on one agreement across Adelaide's metropolitan bus operators.

We met with the bargaining representative and management and worked through key issues, raising concerns around turnaround times, rostering and other day-to-day issues affecting drivers across the industry.

One agreement across the network is an opportunity to fight to raise industry standards 🚍

It was great to bring our delegates from across South Australia and the Northern Territory together at our 2026 Delegates Conference earlier this month. It was an opportunity to catch up, celebrate some hard-fought wins and have important conversations about the challenges and opportunities facing transport workers.

Delegates heard from guest speakers, shared wins from their yards and took part in discussions on workplace health and safety as well as other industry issues. It was a powerful reminder of the difference delegates make every day in their depots.

Thanks to everyone who attended and helped make the conference such a success, and a special thank you to Team Super for once again partnering with us and supporting the event!

On Friday we hosted the first in-person meeting with Adelaide's three metropolitan bus operators, Torrens Transit, SouthLink and Busways, to begin discussions about one enterprise agreement across the network.

Delegates from each depot led discussions on the issues that matter most to our members and the improvements workers want to see across the industry.

Bringing all bus workers together under one agreement is an opportunity to raise standards across the industry and build a better bus network for workers and the communities we support ✊
