RuShi Buddhist Youth Group We are a Buddhist group organised by a group of dedicated university students in Adelaide in hope of promoting Buddhism through our events.

请尽量自备清洁工具。天气炎热，请大家带上帽子和水照顾好自己。

没有限制人数，多多益善，欢迎大家前来帮忙。

Hello everyone, the temple will be holding the annual cleaning on 7/2 and 8/2, starting from 8.30am. It would be great and much appreciated if you could spare some time to help out. Upon arrival, we kindly request that you pay respect to the Buddha in the main shrine. We shall then recite the Heart Sutra before signing in at the Ci En Library. The leader will allocate tasks after that.

Please note:
All are encouraged to bring own cleaning devices. Due to the extreme weather, please bring a hat/protective wear and enough water supply to keep yourselves cool and hydrated.

There is no limit on the number of volunteers, all are welcome.

11.30pm–12.00am 象征喜庆、吉祥的舞狮，舞龙表演
12.01am–12.30am 钟鼓辞旧迎新及烟花表演
12.30am 庆典结束

We are pleased to inform you that the SA Zhu-Lin Buddhist Association will be hosting the Lunar New Year’s Eve Gala Celebration 2024 on 9 February (Friday), and we hereby invite you to join us. You are welcome to bring your family members and friends to gather at the temple, share the joy of Dharma and join the feast!

Event Schedule:
8.30pm–9.30pm Chanting and prayers for blessings ceremony led by the Abbot
10.00pm–11.30pm Speeches by the Abbot and government officials followed by cultural performances
11.30pm–12.00am Lion and Dragon dance performances symbolising joy and auspiciousness
12.01am–12.30am Bell ringing and fireworks
12.30am End of event

大家好，南澳竹林寺迎新晚会筹募组需要四位善信义工在这周末和春晚当天帮忙设音响和灯光。筹备工作和时间如下：
周六 (27/1 ）搭建舞台10am-4pm, 调试灯光 8pm左右开始
*中间有休息时间
周日 (28/1) 安装背景幕布10am开始， 晚上彩排 （时间再确定）
*中间有休息时间
周五 (9/2) 从白天开始, 当天会架设音响, 电视等， 晚上要等晚会结束后, 收音响, 电视机等, 大概要凌晨2-3点才收工 （时间再确定）
*中间有休息时间
备注：佛堂将提供午餐和晚餐给所有善心义工们。
这是一个绝佳的学习机会, 也可以认识新朋友。更重要的是，志愿服务对您的简历也有好处！

Hello everyone, the SA Zhu-Lin Buddhist Association Lunar New Year’s Eve Gala organising team is recruiting four volunteers to assist with the setting up of the sound system and lighting on this coming weekend as well as on the gala event. Tasks and time allocated are as follows:
27/1 (Saturday) Setting up the stage 10am-4pm, setting up the lights from around 8pm
*Rest break between shifts
28/1 (Sunday) Setting up background screen from around 10am, Rehearsal at night (time to be confirmed again)
*Rest break between shifts
9/2 (Friday) Starting from the day, tasks include setting up audio, tv screen etc.; assisting with gala event, packing down at the end of event at around 2-3am (time to be confirmed again)
*Rest break between shifts
Please note: Lunch and dinner will be provided for all volunteers.
We will greatly appreciate the support if you are interested and have some availability to help us out.
This is a great opportunity to learn (you don’t need prior knowledge) and meet people as well as have fun. What’s more, volunteering will be good for your resume too!
