in South Australia, the then civic trust of South Australia has become the Australian Civic Trust, addressing both State and National Issues. The Awards & Brickbats program invites all members of the public to submit nominations of projects, both good and bad, for consideration by a jury assigned annually for this purpose, to engage in debates on them and to vote on their own worth through a Peoples Choice Process. The jury is comprised of community members, leaders and experts in the various aspects of the civic environment, including the urban, social and environment fields.
