Stories come in all shapes and sizes. They can be about a memory, a lived experience, a moment you're proud of, or a challenge you've faced. Whether you enjoy writing, drawing, chatting or simply listening, there's no right or wrong way to take part. We'll have plenty of creative prompts and story starters to help you get started, along with light snacks and the opportunity to connect with other young people with disability in a welcoming and supportive environment.

🏳️‍🌈 Applications are open for the Neurodivergent LGBTQIA+ Youth Community Leadership Program a free SA-based program for neurodivergent LGBTQIA+SB young people aged 18–25.
What's the program about?
You're likely already leading in ways that don't always get called leadership. But they are. This program is about naming that, building on it, and going deeper, with people who get it.
Is this for you?
✔ You're aged 18–25
✔ You identify as neurodivergent — self-diagnosis is valid here
✔ You identify as LGBTQIA+SB — all diverse gender expressions invited
* No NDIS plan or formal diagnosis needed

We will talk a bit about what your story means, and why you may share your story. You do not need to share anything you don't want to.

Your story can look different to other stories, & can be about lots of different things!
You may think about how you may share a personal story, a professional story, or many other types of stories!

We will be discussing about how you may share your story and why. You do not need to share anything during the session if you don't want to, & we ask stories shared are kept appropriate and mindful of others.

What will we be doing?

5:30-6:00pm: Welcomes & introductions.
6:00-6:45pm: We will talk a bit about setting achievable goals!
These goals may be financial, personal, or another type of goal.
6:45-7:00pm: Food Break & Catch-up Time.
7:00-7:30pm: Discuss goals, topics & wrap up!
Catering will be provided!

Today is World Youth Skills Day! A day to recognise the importance of educating, and equipping young people with the skills they need for a better future!
Young people with disability also deserve the same attention!

This month we’re gathering online and welcoming guests from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) to chat with us about the upcoming Census. The Census is compulsorary for all housholds in Australia and occurs every 5 years.

📈Whether you've never thought about the Census before or have lots of questions, this is a chance to learn more. We’ll dive into questions like:
• What is the Census?
• Why does it matter?
• How is the information used?
• What kinds of questions will be asked?

This week is National NAIDOC week! For 50 years, NAIDOC Week has celebrated the strength, culture, and achievements of First Nations peoples.
NAIDOC week is about:
🖤 honouring Elders and community leaders
🎨 celebrating culture, stories, and languages
🤝 recognising the people who made change possible
🌱 supporting the next generation to keep culture strong
