Bone Health Foundation The Bone Health Foundation raises money to fund research into treatments and cures for bones and musc

The Bone Health Foundation (formerly known as the Bone Growth Foundation) is an Australian not-for-profit organisation that raises money for education and research into bone health and musculoskeletal conditions. Hundreds of conditions can affect a persons bone health such as osteoporosis, bone cancer, scoliosis, arthritis, hip dysplasia, club foot and vitamin D and calcium deficiencies. More than 4.6 billion public health dollars are spent on these many musculoskeletal conditions that affect 6,000,000 Australians. Since it was founded in 1991, the Foundation has invested over $2.5 million in Australian-based research projects to improve the health and wellbeing of all those affected by musculoskeletal conditions.

BHF Supporter Spotlight 💙 Meet Sydney & Dad, Dan 💙

When Dan’s daughter Sydney was diagnosed with hip dysplasia, their family experienced firsthand the uncertainty that can come with a condition affecting a child’s development and mobility.

Inspired by Sydney’s journey, Dan and Sydney took on the City-Bay Fun Run to raise awareness and funds for the Bone Health Foundation — helping support research and better outcomes for people affected by bone and musculoskeletal conditions.

Their message is a simple but important one: awareness, research and support can make a real difference to children and families navigating these challenges.

Thank you, Dan and Sydney, for sharing your story and supporting the Bone Health Foundation. ❤️
