Did you know that 7 in 10 women say hidden salaries are a dealbreaker when considering a new role? That’s an increase of nearly 20% in just one year, according to the WORK180 What Women Want Report.

Salary transparency is no longer a “nice to have.” For many jobseekers, it’s now a clear signal of whether an employer is serious about fairness and accountability.

At the same time, analysis from Workplace Gender Equality Agency of 10,500 Australian employers found that 50% have a gender pay gap larger than 11.2% in favour of men.

When pay isn’t visible, inequality is harder to spot — and harder to fix. Transparency helps workers make informed decisions and pushes organisations to address the gaps that still exist.
