Thank you to the team at SALIFE Magazine for their fantastic coverage from Exercise 2! A great read which covers the background stories of several volunteers and one of our young people.

A very insightful read - so click below for more!~ 🥾

Eight days of attention is sometimes all it takes to influence a young person's life, as Operation Flinders has discovered.

We are thrilled that our Chair of Operation Flinders is the next Governor of South Australia.

We have been very lucky to have Grant as part of the team and leading us in our goals to transform the lives of young people in South Australia.

Congratulations to Grant 🌟 what an incredibly proud day for us all.

Police Commissioner Grant Stevens has been appointed as South Australia's 37th Governor.

Stevens will officially step down from his top policing role on October 23 and will be formally sworn into the state's vice-regal office on December 9.

CITY TO SUMMIT 2026 IS WRAPPED UP! 🌟

On Friday, the event hosted over 270 walkers in total, heading from Victoria Square, up to Mt Lofty and over to Woodhouse. The sun was out which made for slightly warmer walking conditions.

We would like to say a huge thank you to the volunteers who were leaders in teams, those who helped with setting up, hosting lunch, towing toilets and of course, making the day what it was!

To our young people and past-participants, thank you for being brave and representing the Foundation beautifully.

SO FAR, THE EVENT HAS RAISED $155,000! With more to come! 🥾

Did you catch the story about the Foundation on 9 News Adelaide? It’s 35 years of Operation Flinders!

Thanks to Sam for taking the leap off abseil and being brave enough to report from “off the cliff”.

Today we bumped into the Team from Glenunga and had a chat to the leadership team about how the team was traveling! They were heading north west toward Cochos campsite tonight.

Team Leader Liz, Assistant Team Leader Tones and PGM Vik were all in high spirits! 🥾

What a fantastic day at Yankaninna Station, with the sun out and green everywhere the eye can see!

Many teams have now passed their half way point and are currently preparing for their return home in a few days.

Well done to all the teams 🥾

The teams are arriving at Yankaninna Station! 🥾

The weathers a bit different up there compared to Adelaide! Suns out and there’s only a few clouds in the sky.

Good luck to those starting their Operation Flinders experience!
