An innovative new $100 million 20-storey building in the heart of Adelaide’s CBD, opened in August 2019.

U City is a truly unique, inclusive and diverse ‘vertical village’. This world-first, radical mixed-use building brings together retirement living, specialist short-and long-stay disability apartments; a function centre; commercial, retail and hospitality outlets; and a hub for Uniting Communities’ broad range of social services.

If you love handmade treasures, warm winter knits and supporting a local community group, make sure you stop by the upcoming Cosy Club's Autumn Trading Table at U City. 🍂

From handmade beanies and scarves to socks, children’s jumpers, rugs and more, the trading table is packed with lovingly made items perfect for the cooler months ahead.

The Cosy Club group now operates independently. It meets regularly at U City and includes many U City residents who share a passion for knitting and creativity.

The stall will be held:

Last week, U City was proud to host the Property Council (SA Division) Retirement Living Council Forum & Awards in our Function Centre, as the official Venue Partner for the event.

The event saw guests come together from across the Aged Care sector in South Australia to discuss important issues affecting retirement living and to celebrate achievements across the Retirement Living Sector. Lee Sauerwald, Executive Manager Corporate & Commercial, had the opportunity to address the room and talk further about our wonderful U City building and the community it helped create.
