MUTHUHARA ADELAIDE was officially established, and a simple and elegant Inauguration Ceremony with fifty members and their families was held in Adelaide on Saturday, the 01st of October 2016. The guests were Ven U Sumedha Thero (Chief Incumbent of Adelaide Sri Lanka Buddhist Vihara Inc and the principal of Sinhala Buddhist School) and Dr Charitha Perera, Honorary consul for Sri Lanka in South Aust
ralia and the Patron of Muthuhara Adelaide. The first meeting for the Muthuhara Adelaide (2527 Rupavahini Muthuhara Children’s Association) in Adelaide was held in July 2016. As the Patron of Muthuhara Adelaide, Dr Charitha Perera chaired the meeting, and Organiser Kumudini Widyaratne Silva assisted him in leading the meeting. Background knowledge of the Rupavahini Muthuhara was explained, along with how it will be conducted in Adelaide, the constitution, theme song, theme colour, uniforms, the inauguration ceremony, and the first executives for the group.
