The Grand Opening of the Tea Tree Gully Scout Group was a huge success! It was lovely to see so many people coming out to see what scouting is all about; fun, friendship and adventure!

Thank you to Scouts SA, the Scouts SA Target Sports Team and the Scouts SA Caving Team for bringing the adventure.
Big thank you to the volunteers who worked tirelessly to bring this event to life!

Lastly thank you to our community for showing up and supporting us as we take on this new and exciting chapter as the Tea Tree Gully Scout Group!

CONGRATULATIONS!
to our very own KING LOUIE of TEA TREE GULLY(Ridgehaven)
King Louie has been awarded the Meritorious Service Award on this World Scout Day, for excellent service to the Association.
But of course, we all know that!
aka as Shane, he has been an integral part of our Scouting community first in Ridgehaven Scout Group and now helping us move forward with our newly formed Tea Tree Gully Scout Group.
Shane was a long suffering, err, standing Parent Helper alongside his now Venturer son as he moved through the sections. Then as our esteemed Quartermaster. A few years back he decided to take the plunge and make it official and became a uniformed Leader of our Scout Unit. His dedication to everything he does for our Scout community is exemplary. He is often found wielding the tongs at a Bunnings BBQ or finding something new and interesting for our Scouts to do.
When you see him next, give him a HIGH FIVE!
