Tonight we tasted 1999 and 2018 The Dead Arm Shiraz.

The 1999 survived well, cork was clean and should be drunk now.

2018 is good drinking now and shows great promise for cellaring.

Thanks Kimbolton Wines for this evenings houseboat tasting.

The range of wines was a delightful tasting paired beautifully with dinner and dessert. The group couldn't pick a stand out as we all had different favourites.

Outstanding McLaren Vale wines. Exceptional pairing wine with food we chose Tandoori Chicken this evening.

High consistency across the years. GSM with real complexity and flavour.

The Callipygians recommend this selection of wines.

Two Hands Wines Regional Tasting on our 2024 Houseboat trip.

Excellent way to compare contrasting terroirs.

A great deal for us to unpack. Large variation of the flavours as the wine developed. The subtle differences between the regions was discernible.

Every bottle a pleasure to taste. The group found that it really came down to personal choice and couldn't pick a favourite!
