The South Australian Recreation Trails Incorporated has helped create some of South Australia’s best-known walking and cycling trails, including the 325km Lavender Federation Walking Trail from Murray Bridge to Clare.

Alongside long-distance trails, SARTI also supports shorter loop walks, cycling routes and member short walks with access to private property sections of the trail.

Today is National Walk Safely to School Day.

Walking, riding or scooting to school helps children arrive active, focused and ready for the day.

If you’re driving near schools today:
• Slow down
• Stay alert
• Watch for children near crossings, buses and parked cars

Safer streets support healthier and more active communities.
