Walk a Mile in My Boots Hutt St Centre’s Walk a Mile in My Boots is from 4 to 10 August! Walk 2, 7, or 10 miles a day this National Homelessness Week and join us on Friday 8 August

One sleep 😴 to go until the Walk a Mile in My Boots event! 🧡🧡🧡

Here's a sneak peak of what we have in store for you tomorrow - coffee, photo booth, SALA Festival exhibition, lawn games, and more. 🙌

Set your alarm ⏰ nice and early tomorrow morning and read all the need-to-knows below for a hassle-free morning: 👇

🥾 Date: Friday 8 August
🥾 Time: 7am arrival for a 7:30am walk start
🥾 Location: Victoria Park/Pakapakanthi Grandstand
🥾 What to wear: Your Walk a Mile in My Boots rewards, and warm clothing that is comfortable to walk in
🥾 Getting there: Visit the Adelaide metro website to plan public transport or carpool where possible.
🥾 What to bring: Water bottle, fully charged phone for taking photos to capture the moment, and your team spirit! 😁

Each year, one of our visitors at Hutt St Centre transform a pair of boots into a unique artwork in celebration of Walk a Mile in My Boots. 🥾

This year we asked Perry, an incredibly talented artist from Noongar Country and a regular visitor at our Creative Hub. 🧡🎨

“I just love painting and putting my art out there. Seeing other people enjoy it gives me more enjoyment. "

This stunning pair of boots will be awarded to the highest fundraising team, and the top 3 individual and team fundraisers will each receive a framed print of a photo of the boots as a thank you for going the extra mile to support people facing homelessness. 🙌

Our team work hard every day to support people at risk of or experiencing homelessness through tough times, connecting them with essential services and helping people to find a safe place to call home. This work is only made possible thanks to YOU! 🙌

Your cheer squad are SO EXCITED for Walk a Mile in My Boots that they’ve taken to cruising the streets of Adelaide to spread the word ! 📣🚙

Thank you to our friends CMI Toyota for helping get the word out in our trusty RAV4. Our case managers often use these cars to help transport furniture for someone settling into a new house after a period of homelessness, or to take people to and from important appointments
