WOW just learnt SA is developing rules regarding new fuel tanks. Wonder if council know or care about this. From all the EPA regs this still doesnt add up. I guess if you have the cash you can do whatever you want.

How do you store petrol at home in Australia?
For domestic use, fuel should be stored in steel cans of 2.5 litres, 5.0 litres or in 25.0 litre jerry cans. Plastic containers of the approved type with the Australian Standards mark (AS2906-1991) on the bottom can also be used.
