Today was a truly **special and sacred day** for our girls.
They were empowered and inspired by the oldest FGM survivor and a courageous advocate for ending FGM in Bomet East. Her story, her strength, and her bold stand against this harmful practice touched our hearts and opened our eyes in a deep way.

We are **deeply grateful** for the wisdom she shared, the healing she represents, and the hope she brings to this generation of girls.
Today reminded us that change is possible, that voices matter, and that our girls deserve to grow up **safe, whole, and free**.

We are so grateful — for her life, for her bravery, and for the opportunity our girls had to learn, listen, and be empowered.
May the seeds planted today grow into a future where every girl in Bomet East — and beyond — lives without fear of FGM.

This year, our girls are engaging deeply with **five professional counsellors and psychologists**, guiding them through our **curated mentoring and empowerment sessions**. The transformation, confidence, and joy we’re witnessing are truly inspiring!

Together, we’re shaping a generation of **strong, informed, and fearless young women** — ready to lead and create lasting change in their communities. 💪✨

**It’s that special time of the year again!**

BET Foundation is proud to announce the annual **STOP FGM Program Celebration** — a powerful event dedicated to ending female ge***al mutilation and empowering girls to live with confidence, dignity, and freedom.

This year’s celebration again will be **hosted by our Global Youth Ambassador, Britney Chebet, from the University of Miami, USA**, and marks an incredible milestone **over 500 girls graduating** from the program!

Join us as we come together to celebrate their courage, resilience, and the promise of a brighter, safer future for all girls.
