Four decades of P.A.R.T.Y. 🎉

This year marks an incredible milestone for the P.A.R.T.Y. Program globally - 40 years of helping young people build safer futures.

Here in South Australia, we are incredibly proud to be part of that global P.A.R.T.Y. community and to continue sharing the same important message with young people across our state: understand the risks, think about the consequences, and make choices that help you get home safely.

Happy Allied Health Professions Day! 💚

Today we want to recognise the incredible allied health teams across Central Adelaide Local Health Network, Northern Adelaide Local Health Network - NALHN
, and Southern Adelaide Local Health Network - SALHN who contribute so much of their time and expertise to the P.A.R.T.Y. Program.

Our allied health presenters play such an important role in making the P.A.R.T.Y. day layered, engaging and impactful for students, helping young people understand not only how trauma can happen, but the very real impact an injury can have on everyday life, recovery and independence.

We are SO grateful for the time, energy and passion you continue to give to our program and our students.

What a week in Port Lincoln! 🙌

The P.A.R.T.Y. Program team recently wrapped up three fantastic days on the Eyre Peninsula, reaching more than 130 students across three schools.

For the first time, our team travelled beyond Port Lincoln to deliver the program to students at Cleve Area School, before returning to Port Lincoln for two big days with St Joseph’s School and Navigator College - Port Lincoln.

Through real-life stories, emergency services, hands-on activities and realistic medical simulations, students experienced just how quickly risky choices can have life-changing consequences and, most importantly, how they can make choices that help keep themselves and their mates safe.

A huge thank you to the schools, students, staff and local emergency services who welcomed us and helped make the week such a success.

Thanks for having us, Eyre Peninsula. We’ll see you in 2027! 💛🧡💚💜🩷

Whether you're heading away, catching up with

✔️ Always wear your seatbelt.
✔️ Never get into a car with someone who's been drinking or using drugs.
✔️ Stay focused if you're driving.
✔️ Look after your mates and have a plan to get home safely.

One good decision really can make all the difference.

💙💛September is Regional Road Safety Month, a timely reminder that regional roads present unique challenges.

Higher speed limits, longer travel distances, fatigue, and wildlife all contribute to an increased risk of serious injury on regional roads.

That's why taking the P.A.R.T.Y. Program to regional communities is so important.

Recently our team were in Port Augusta, working with local students to encourage safer choices before they ever find themselves in a traumatic situation.

Every regional community deserves access to life-saving education, and we're proud to continue taking the program across South Australia. 💙💛🚗🦘🛣️🌾

We’re proud to acknowledge Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Week ♿

At the P.A.R.T.Y. Program, we see firsthand the value of lived experience in helping young people understand the very real and lifelong impact that serious injury can have.

We’re incredibly fortunate to have Richard Davis as one of our Trauma Ambassadors. Following a motorbike crash that resulted in a spinal cord injury, Richard now shares his story with students attending the P.A.R.T.Y. Program, bringing an honest and powerful perspective to our injury prevention message.

Yesterday, Richard was also part of Estara’s Recreation & Wellbeing Conference for Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Week, joining a panel of para-athletes sharing their experiences of sport, recreation and life following spinal cord injury.

A great opportunity to recognise Richard and the contribution he makes, not only to the P.A.R.T.Y. Program, but to raising awareness and changing perceptions around spinal cord injury.

A very well-deserved recognition for our wonderful P.A.R.T.Y. Program Trauma Ambassador, Georgina! 💙
Congratulations on receiving Brain Injury SA’s 2026 Embrace Life After Brain Injury Award, an incredible acknowledgement of Georgina’s strength, advocacy and the impact she continues to have on others.
We are so fortunate to have Georgina share her story with students through the P.A.R.T.Y. Program. Her honesty and willingness to speak about her lived experience of brain injury leaves a lasting impression on the young people she meets and is such an important part of helping them understand the real-life consequences of risk-taking and the choices they make.

One choice can change your life forever.

August is Rural Road Safety Month, and P.A.R.T.Y. Program SA is proud to support the Australian Road Safety Foundation in raising awareness of staying safe on our regional roads.

This year, P.A.R.T.Y. Program is travelling to more regional schools than ever before, sharing powerful messages with young people about making safe choices behind the wheel.

Regional roads often mean higher speeds, longer distances and greater risks, but one safe choice can make all the difference.

Let's make every journey home a safe one. 🚗💙
