71st Commemoration of the Republic of Vietnam Airforce
"Today, we remind ourselves, not to take for granted the peace and freedom that we enjoy in this country,
at a time when the people of so many nations have neither. And we pledge never to forget the price paid in blood and suffering by Australian and Vietnamese veterans alike. Today, and every day, we will remember."

Xin chân thành cám ơn Chủ Tịch Hội Cựu Quân Nhân QLVNCH Úc Châu và tiểu bang Nam Úc, ông Nguyễn Đăng-Thảo, đã mời HĐQT CĐNVTD-NU đến tham dự Ngày Không Lực, QLVNCH lần thứ 71.
Dù là thế hệ trẻ, sinh sau ngày mất nước, Kim-Khuyên rất ngưỡng mộ người lính VNCH. “Tổ Quốc – Danh Dự - Trách Nhiệm”, là những bài học rất giá trị, KK đã học được từ nơi quý vị.
Con đường xây dựng CĐNVTD còn dài, ước mong quý vị sẽ cùng chung sức với HĐQT quyết tâm đồng lòng cho:
Một Cộng Đồng, đoàn kết chặt chẽ,
Cho một thế hệ, tương lai đẹp đẽ.
Xin quý vị hãy, rộng lòng chia sẻ,
Để nối kết thế hệ, lớn và trẻ.
Kính chúc quý vị, tràn đầy sức khỏe,
Tinh thần Không Quân, mãi mãi mạnh mẽ.
Gắn bó với nhau, như cánh chim sẻ...
Và Ngày Không Lực, thật nhiều ý-nghĩa.

As a second-generation South Australian of Vietnamese refugee heritage, I consider it a privilege to learn from you - our Vietnam veterans - our
freedom fighters - our living libraries.
Through your service and sacrifice, you remind us that, commemoration, reflection, and remembrance are not simply about honouring the past; they are about passing your legacy to future generations. Only by remembering, can we truly appreciate the freedoms we enjoy today:
We came with little, but our names,
A past, we could not keep.
Yet found upon Australia's shore,
A promise, we could reap.
Across our Freedom Flag of yellow,
Three scarlet stripes - still stand.
Beneath the radiant Southern Cross,
Our Home - on Australian land.
“A Million Stories” crossed the sea,
Carrying dreams, hope and memories.
Thank you multicultural Australia,
Her refugees, migrants, democracy.
Our heritage is Vietnamese,
We journeyed across the seas.
We’re grateful to this sunburnt land,
For proving: Freedom - is not free.
60,000 Aussies served,
In Vietnam’s distant war.
523 Aussies perished,
Lest we forget, forevermore.
