Our Pop-Up Choir needs you!
A Pop Up Choir is a special, low commitment opportunity to learn new songs, grow in your singing skills, and take part in a special one-off performance.
Our Pop Up Choir will be performing a short set (around 20-30 minutes) at Unley Uniting Church on August 9th, at 4:30pm, as part of Together As One: A Celebration in Song, a free concert celebrating multicultural folk, traditional, and spiritual music in Adelaide.
We encourage everyone, seasoned singers or total newbies, to join in - no auditions required, just turn up to rehearsal ready to have a go! We have four rehearsals, plus a dress rehearsal on the day of the event at 3pm.
To ensure we're all organised, a minimum attendance of at least two rehearsals (as well as the dress rehearsal) is mandatory, though we encourage you to attend all four.

Our Pop Up Choir is being led by the fabulous Dr Jamie Lynn Webster. Jamie holds a PhD in musicology and ethnomusicology from the University of Oregon, and is an experienced musician who has a passion for helping people and institutions tell their story through music. We are very grateful to have her visiting us from the USA, and sharing with us both her musical talents and vast collection of sheet music!
