What a delight our second “Flavours of our Community” was. We are so thankful for for partnering with us to provide these opportunity to explore the space that food plays in nurturing communities.

Caz and her Mum lead us in creating a lush Maltese feast while sharing stories of the place of food in their family and its ability to create wealth even in times of material scarcity.

The stories nourished us as much, if not more, than the delicious food.

Join us for our next Flavours of Our Community.

Christmas Wellness Day

Wrap up your year and start the next with our final Village Wellness Day of the year.
You enjoy a few hours of creative zen while creating 4 stunning ceramic baubles using Alcohol Inks under the expert tutelage of artist Katy J. These will look just stunning on your tree or as the perfect gift.

In between you will have a chance to enjoy a Devonshire Tea as you overlook our stunning Aldgate Valley Views

You will also have the opportunity to create a bauble for our community tree where you can contribute a thought, prayer, poem or hope for 2026 for your own life, our community or our world and symbolically hang it to our peace tree or hang one in memory of someone significant to you.

A great way to frame your Christmas season

The Bridgewater Aldgate Community Support Hub (BACSH) Committee is hosting an informative and practical session, which focuses on what to do in the first 5 minutes of a medical emergency. The session will be delivered by Chris Cotton, a senior paramedic and Adelaide Hills local. Please see the attached flyer for details and further information below:

Chris is a registered paramedic with considerable experience in attending emergency medical cases. Chris will cover, in an informal conversational style, the initial approach to a range of common medical emergencies - including early recognition and actions people can take to reduce impacts and save lives.

The presentation is deliberately interactive, and whilst Chris says it is not designed to replace a first aid course, it will cover some simple and effective strategies on a broad range of emergencies people may encounter.

The presentation does have some confronting themes, and this content will be covered with care and respect. This session will be a great opportunity to build confidence and preparedness in responding to potential situations that may occur.
