Our Repair Cafe today was well attended with 38 items coming in. Our wonderful volunteers were able to repair 33 of these items, saving 34kgs of landfill.

Our new IT tech volunteer can refresh older laptops so they can be passed on to others. If however, you have an old laptop unsuitable to be reused, Heath can ensure all personal information is deleted before it goes off to be recycled.

New to Marino Repair Cafe -
Do you have an old laptop you'd like to give to a niece or nephew, but maybe it's too slow nowadays, or out of date? Bring a tired working laptop (and the charger!) to the repair cafe for a free software refresh! All data will be wiped and a free modern operating system will be put on.
Our next event is Sunday August 16.

Thanks to all our wonderful volunteers who made Sunday (19th) such a successful day. We saved 53kg from landfill and repaired 33 items from a chainsaw to 3 electrical cords that had been chewed by pet rabbits! We've been told the cheeky rabbits have learnt their lesson after getting their whiskers burnt. See you all again on Sunday August 16

Another very successful day yesterday where we saved 56kg of stuff from landfill, including 3 lamps, 1 air fryer, 3 vacuum cleaners, a suitcase, 2 radios, a printer and a variety of other household items.
Bill helped a young boy build a wooden truck, and a very happy lady had her 40 year old skipping rope fixed.

We had our busiest event ever last Sunday thanks to all that attend and those wonderful volunteers who do such amazing repairs. You made many people very happy!
