This Saturday the 22nd of August sees Ekphrastic poetry coming to the SALA Ripples exhibition at the Brookside Gallery. The poetry event will run from 2.00 to 5.00 pm. The afternoon begins with poets being matched to art works, then the writing of poetry inspired by the artworks, followed by the reading of the poems. If you'd like to be part of the whole process, be there at 2.00. No experience necessary! If you've never tried writing poetry, this could be your chance. If you'd rather just hear the poetry, the readings will kick off at about 3.45. It should be an entertaining afternoon and we'd love to see you there.
