Hi All,

The "Lab' has been mentioned before in Ripples' emails, hopefully sparking your interest in the event . This is a reminder that the latest edition of The Poetry Laboratory will be tomorrow, Tuesday 19th May.

Novelist and poet D.H. Lawrence will be getting the Lab treatment with Val Braendler giving the opening presentation. If you have a poem inspired by, relating to or generally in the vicinity of DH and his work then you're invited to be part of the open mic. Or just come and listen and enjoy a cuppa and the company of fellow artistic souls. I hope you can make it!

Here are the details:
The Poetry Laboratory
When - Tuesday 19/5/26, 7.15 for a 7.30 start
Where - Brookside Cellars Community Arts Centre, 17 Moore Street, Tranmere
Cost - $5 (cash only/ includes refreshments).

We’re happy to share some news β€” Art in Adelaide project, run by Ripples member Victoria and her husband Alex, presents a new video interview with South Australian textile artist and art tutor Suzanne Gummow.

In this warm and thoughtful conversation, Suzanne speaks about her floral textile works, the influence of travel, her passion for fabric, and the quiet studio process behind her practice. From teaching to exhibiting, she reflects on how textile art grows through observation, memory, and years of working with materials.

We invite you to discover Suzanne’s creative world with us.
