Roman Chvilíček (ČSOB) will outline ČSOB sustainability vision through its sustainable built headquarters, with a strong focus on green roofs. He will explain the key drivers of the initiative and share the most important operational lessons from a finance company's perspective.

Doris Schnepf (Green 4 Cities) will introduce impact-based financing, focusing on impact bonds and blended finance in the EU LIFE project ImpaQt, and how these tools can help fund and scale urban nature-based solutions.

Andreas Tuerk (Invest4Nature)
will present the EU Horizon project Invest4Nature, which will aim to make
nature-based solutions financially viable and scalable by demonstrating their
economic value and attracting both public and private investment.

This webinar is organised within the framework of the Gonaturepositive project and directly contributes to the implementation of the Roadmap for a Nature-Positive Built Environment: particularly addressing financing and cost
barriers, scalability of solutions, and the need for measurable impact - it brings together key actors from finance, business, and innovation to explore how nature-based solutions can be effectively delivered and scaled in practice.

📢 New Implementation Guidelines published by EFB and World Green Infrastructure Network - WGIN!

📝 EFB and WGIN have released guidelines to support the national and local implementation of European legislation, aiming to advance urban green infrastructure and building-integrated nature-based solutions.

The document clearly explains how EU legislation can support the achievement of climate, biodiversity, and sustainability goals, and provides practical guidance for implementing these legal frameworks, including the deployment of solutions such as green roofs, green walls, and other nature-based solutions. This approach not only helps meet EU targets but also delivers multiple benefits for people, cities, and the environment.
