✨️The Final event of INNOV8PEACE Project✨️

On 27 February in Vienna, the final event of the INNOV8PEACE project took place during the Youth Changemakers Forum 2.0 – United Nations Conference. The conference was organized by the Philippines diaspora, with several partners contributing as co-organisers, including our team.

👥 Around 80 participants joined the conference, bringing together young leaders, students, and changemakers from different countries.

👉Lorence Klas (IAYSP Slovakia) introduced the work and mission of IAYSP, highlighting how youth initiatives and global cooperation can support peacebuilding and social responsibility.

🔥During the INNOV8PEACE break-out workshop, led by the IAYSP team and moderated by Merve Duman, around 50 participants explored the Peace Designer methodology.

Before the workshop activities, participants heard inspiring presentations from the Peace Designer Training (September 2025, Vienna):
👉Musika Publika – an initiative by Kristina Knezović Žuna & Mario Knezović making classical music accessible through affordable concerts
👉Forum d’Honneur – a dialogue project by Maha Dabirian connecting perspectives from Europe and the Middle East
👉Christmas Concert at the Elderly Home – an intergenerational initiative by Michael Deininger & Jessica Wang

Participants then worked in small groups to identify community challenges, connect them to the SDGs, and develop ideas for action. Topics ranged from bridging the gap between younger and older generations to improving access to education and opportunities.

The session was full of energy, ideas, and meaningful conversations — showing how young people can turn reflection into real action for peace and social impact.

As part of a project following the Peace Designer training, young people from Vienna organized a Christmas evening for the elderly home Haus Rossau.

Music, shared singing, warm conversations, and personal Christmas letters created an atmosphere of joy and care. The residents were deeply touched and asked us to come back again next year!

✨️Eine Ausstellung von Meisterwerken! Kürzlich haben wir eine Kunstveranstaltung organisiert, bei der junge Menschen ihre Vision von einer strahlenden Zukunft und der Welt auf Leinwänden dargestellt haben! Wir laden Sie zu dieser Ausstellung ein! Sie werden mit den Künstlern ins Gespräch kommen und eine gute Zeit haben!

✨ Heute möchten wir euch mitteilen, wen wir mit unserem Kunstprojekt unterstützen werden: das Kinderpalliativzentrum MOMO in Österreich.

MOMO ist ein einzigartiger Ort für Kinder mit schweren Erkrankungen und ihre Familien. Das interdisziplinäre Team – bestehend aus Ärzt:innen, Pflegekräften, Psycholog:innen, Logopäd:innen, Pädagog:innen und Freiwilligen – begleitet die Betroffenen mit großer Sorgfalt, Professionalität und Herzlichkeit.

Die Unterstützung ist für die Familien kostenlos – möglich gemacht durch das Engagement vieler Menschen und Organisationen, die MOMO finanziell tragen. Wir freuen uns sehr, mit unserem Kunstprojekt einen Beitrag zu leisten. Die entstandenen Bilder bald im Rahmen werden einer Benefizauktion versteigert. Der gesamte Erlös geht an MOMO.

Lasst uns gemeinsam etwas bewegen.

Mit Farben, Formen und allem, was dich bewegt, gestaltest du, was dir wirklich wichtig ist: deine Vision von einer besseren Welt und wie wir gemeinsam morgen leben wollen.
