As we dive into the final preparations for the jubilee 20th edition of 𝐬𝐡𝐮𝐭 𝐮𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧! [...] …and as we sift through the archive, rediscovering so many 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞, 𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐝, 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 > concerts, performances, installations, collaborations > we just want to say that we are deeply grateful to everyone who’s been part of this journey over the years! Whether on stage, behind the scenes, in the audience, or in the ether > you made this festival what it is: a living, shifting part of Vienna’s experimental music / sound art / contemporary art scene!

From October 16–24, 2025, we’re celebrating with a jubilee edition under the title 𝑃𝐴𝑆𝑇_20 → 𝑁𝐸𝑋𝑇_∞. Nine days packed with concerts, performances, sound installations, exhibitions, and of course lots of friends, memories, and new discoveries.

We’ll be at our home base echoraum (Oct 16–18) and then continue at the new listening gallery SP•CE (Oct 19–24).

For those far away: the first three days will also be streamed live.
