Congratulations to Dr Claire Harnett on receiving the 2026 Arne Richter Award for Outstanding Early Career Scientists 🌋🏆

She was recognised for her exceptional field and experimental studies on the growth and collapse of volcanic structures, as well as her geotechnical applications that contribute to better assessments of volcanic instability and hazards.

An inspiring recognition of important work advancing our understanding of volcanoes and related risks.
