Our mission
The mission of the Organization for Security, Cooperation, Environment, and Development (OSCED) is to promote international cooperation that will help develop the economic and social well-being of people, provide safety for the helpless, and protect their environment around the world. The OSCED pursues the goal to encourage people to work together, to share experiences, and seek solutions to common problems. We encourage people to understand what drives economic, social, and environmental changes. We address issues that directly affect the lives of ordinary people. Our organization encourages high standards for all countries’ educational systems to prepare young people for the benefits and challenges of modern life. We insist on socially just pension systems that will look after their citizens in old age. Drawing on facts and real-life experience, we desire social justice on a global level to increase the quality of life for everybody. The OSCED works with governments, institutions, businesses, and organizations to encourage them to cooperate locally, nationally, and globally. We have active contacts with a variety of Civil Society and Non-Government organizations. The common thread of our work is a shared commitment to connect markets, protect our environment, back democratic development, and to focus on the well-being of all citizens around the globe. The OSCED’s core values
• Objective: Our analyzes and recommendations are independent and evidence-based.
• Open: We encourage debate and a shared understanding of critical global issues.
• Bold: We dare to challenge conventional wisdom starting with our own.
• Pioneering: We identify and address emerging and long term challenges.
• Ethical: Our credibility is built on trust, integrity, and transparency.
