This video shows how PinkDrive, the NGO promoting awareness and early detection of, and screening for gender-related cancers in the uninsured population of South Africa (mainly breast and prostate cancer) is helping on site by driving all through the country.

In 2023, our charity Heidi's Pink Van has collected a respectable amount of money to donate a van to PinkDrive for transporting the doctors who examine the patients in the huge mobile screening unit trucks.

Since it has been handed over in early 2024, "Heidi Miltner's pink van has done over 100,000 km travelling across SA, helping the medical uninsured. To all your donors and especially you - Thank you," said Noelene Kotschan, founder and CEO of PinkDrive.

Our organization is now helping to cover the running costs of the van, and I would be very grateful if you could make a small donation to mark the van's one-year anniversary. We have set up a separate account for this purpose:

It's blooming season in Namakwaland Blomme, the semi-desert Succulent Karoo between Namibia and South Africa.

The late Heidi Miltner, founder of Tell The World HP, loved this region, when we first crossed it in 1998. And this week, "Heidi's Pink Van" is enjoying a drive through the incredible sea of flowers!

Shannen Doherty has eventually lost her battle against breast cancer.

She had always been an inspiration for me due to the way she was fighting this awful disease just like my late wife Heidi Miltner, giving me hope that Heidi may pull through.

Both their courses of disease were similar - first facing regular, but aggressive breast cancer, but retalliating. Then suffering from relapses and doing everything possible to stay alive. Eventually, growing brain tumours and metastases in their bones.

Don't ever be mistaken that breast cancer is a disease one can brush off like many media make us believe. Although death rates have been decreasing since the early 1990s, still one in 40 women will not survive the illness. One too many....

Dear Heidi Miltner, in 2019, we parted ways in this sphere.

You have always wanted to leave something behind. And believe me, you have left plenty people will remember you for.

One of them, is your charity "Heidi's Pink Van", thanks to which this vehicle is now driving all through South Africa supporting the work of PinkDrive, our partner organisation promoting awareness and early detection of, and screening for gender-related cancers.

The countdown clock is ticking! ⏰

On February 6, Heidi Miltner's niece, Michelle Pippan, will hand over a EUR 20,000 cheque from the funds that we have raised in our charity "Heidi's Pink Van" last year!

There will be a big event in Johannesburg - hosting several VIP guests including the Austrian Ambassador in South Africa - and broad media coverage.

A year ago, we started our charity campaign "Heidi's Pink Van", raising funds for a new van for PinkDrive's fleet to offer free breast and prostate cancer screening to people in South Africa.

We are very proud to announce that the campaign has been highly successful and that we have managed to collect more than EUR 43,000 for the cause!

The campaign will close on October 18, so you can still donate, if you have not done so yet!

The HRC - Honda Racing Corporation is supporting our charity www.heidispinkvan.com with MotoGP art photography.

They have donated a piece of Miquel Liso's artistic project showing multiple MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez in action.

The gloss finish art photography poster sized 70 x 50 cms is part of a 500 piece limited edition, autographed by Marc and comes in a Honda-designed tube and with an authenticity certificate.
