At WOMENTOR, mentoring is not about randomly matching people.

We take time, care and a lot of intention to find the right mentor for your goals, questions and next chapter.

Shero: Mireille Ngosso
Sometimes we look at a photo and think we know the story: a person on a stage, a leader speaking into a microphone, someone who seems confident, accomplished, successful.

In reality we rarely see what is happening behind the smile. Recently, our community member and Shero, Mireille Ngosso, shared the stories behind some of the photos that shaped her journey.

They are stories of being underestimated, of carrying expectations that no one else could see, of trying to belong in spaces that did not always make room for her, of continuing to show up even when giving up would have been easier.

What moved us most was not the hardship, but the courage to keep speaking, to keep standing up, to keep believing that her voice mattered, even when others tried to convince her otherwise.

We first welcomed Mireille to a WOMENTOR panel in 2024. Sitting on that stage, sharing her experiences and insights with our community, she did what she has done for years: she opened doors through honesty, generosity, brilliance and leadership. She is still doing that, not by pretending the path was easy, but by showing what it really takes to walk it.

We are proud to have Mireille as part of our community, because leadership is not the absence of doubt, it is moving forward despite it. It is a reminder that change is not created by people who never struggle, it is created by people who refuse to let struggle silence them.

Thank you, Mireille, for sharing your story so openly and for inspiring us.
