We are excited to invite you all for a documentary screening at Villa!

Pesta Babi: Kolonialisme di Zaman Kita documents the struggles of Indigenous communities in South Papua against large-scale government and corporate projects transforming customary lands and forests. Screenings across Indonesia have faced intimidation, surveillance, cancellations and forced dispersals by security forces and other authorities.

After the screening, there will be a presentation by on the colonial connections of Austria and New Guinea. Many thanks to for initiating this, for offering to share their knowledge, and for designing the poster 👆🔥

Entry is donation-based and donations will be used to support the soli rooms in Türkis Rosa Lila Villa.

✨Come to our library fundraising fleamarket✨

In our quest to make over the villa library we are organising a fleamarket to raise funds. We will be giving away books from our old inventory as well as clothes and and miscellaneous things. Come by to rummage, hang out and for food/drinks. we look forward to a cozy afternoon at villa!💜☀️

A Q***r asylum seeker that has been living in Vorarlberg for 3 years reached out to Villa asking for help in his situation. His asylum application was rejected by the BFA, the appeal for that is pending before the federal administrative court.

This person feels very isolated in Vorarlberg, they barely have a LGBTQIA+ community there, and has been living in constant uncertainty and under enormous psychological pressure.

For a feeling of stability, this person regularly travels to Vienna, as he feels safer to be himself. These constant trips however pose a huge strain on his physical and mental health, as well as financially.

To support and help him relocate to Vienna, we are raising money and will be sending it to him directly.

Eine q***re asylsuchende Person, die seit drei Jahren in Vorarlberg lebt, hat sich an die Villa gewandt und um Unterstützung in ihrer Situation gebeten. Der Asylantrag dieser Person wurde vom Bundesamt für Fremdenwesen und Asyl (BFA) abgelehnt; gegen diese Entscheidung läuft derzeit ein Beschwerdeverfahren vor dem Bundesverwaltungsgericht.

Die Person fühlt sich in Vorarlberg stark isoliert, da es dort kaum Zugang zu einer LGBTQIA+-Community gibt. Das Leben in ständiger Unsicherheit sowie die anhaltende Belastung durch das Asylverfahren üben enormen psychischen Druck aus.

Um ein Gefühl von Sicherheit und Stabilität zu finden, reist die Person regelmäßig nach Wien, wo sie sich freier und sicherer fühlt, sie selbst zu sein. Diese häufigen Fahrten stellen jedoch eine erhebliche finanzielle, körperliche und psychische Belastung dar.

Um die Person bei einer Übersiedlung nach Wien zu unterstützen und ihr den Aufbau eines stabileren Lebensumfelds zu ermöglichen, sammeln wir Spenden. Die gesammelten Gelder werden direkt an die betroffene Person weitergegeben.

The first step is to reorganise and refocus the books/media we have, towards a q***r, decolonial, anti-racist and intersectional inventory.

💥For this we need you: You can contribute to Villa library by donations (physical media or money) and recommendations of works that you think fits the themes mentioned above.

Our longtime goal is to have regular opening hours and find people who want to join the library/infoshop collective. 💫
