Designed for youth workers, trainers, educators, and aspiring social entrepreneurs, this practical toolkit provides engaging non-formal learning methods to inspire the next generation of sustainable fashion innovators. It combines theory with hands-on activities, equipping learners with the knowledge and skills needed to transform textile waste into creative opportunities.

📚 Building Better Digital Learning Starts with Understanding Real Needs

How can we better prepare young people to navigate an increasingly digital world? The answer begins with listening, researching, and collaborating. 🌍💡

As part of the Erasmus+ EM&M (Emotional Intelligence & Cybersecurity Environments in Youth Education) project, the Comparative Study on Blended Teaching & Learning Solutions in Youth Education lays the foundation for developing the EM&M Manual for Youth Workers and Stakeholders.

The study gathered insights from 300 participants across six European countries through Computer-Assisted Web Interviews (CAWI), exploring the needs, expectations, and experiences of youth workers, educators, and stakeholders in both online and offline learning environments. These findings will guide the creation of a practical manual that bridges emotional intelligence and cybersecurity education, helping youth professionals respond to the challenges young people face in today's digital landscape.

Available in seven languages—English, Romanian, Greek, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, and German—the EM&M Manual will provide practical methodologies, interactive exercises, assessment tools, and evidence-based teaching approaches. It will cover topics such as emotional intelligence, online vulnerability, cyber threats, responsible digital behaviour, and strategies for fostering safer digital environments. Beyond education, the manual empowers youth workers to become digital ambassadors, supporting young people in making informed, mindful, and responsible decisions online.

The development process is built on collaboration and quality, including comparative research, co-creation workshops, content development, internal validation, translations, and piloting with target groups before the final publication.🌐💙

In today's digital world, young people are more connected than ever before—but they also face growing challenges related to online safety, misinformation, cyber threats, and emotional well-being. 🌐💙

The EM&M Manual – Emotional Intelligence and Cybersecurity Environments in Youth Education, developed through the Erasmus+ EM&M Project, is a practical resource designed to support youth workers, educators, trainers, and stakeholders in navigating these challenges. Rather than treating emotional intelligence and cybersecurity as separate topics, the manual brings them together to help young people develop the knowledge, resilience, and confidence they need to thrive in digital spaces.

Inside the manual, you'll find practical guidance, interactive activities, learning resources, and non-formal education methods that empower youth professionals to address issues such as phishing, data protection, misinformation, online harassment, digital addiction, and responsible social media use. At the same time, it emphasizes the importance of empathy, emotional awareness, critical thinking, and informed decision-making—essential skills for building safer and more inclusive online communities.

Together with the EM&M storytelling tools and microlearning platform, this manual contributes to a sustainable learning ecosystem that promotes digital readiness, inclusion, and innovation in youth work, while aligning with the core values and priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme.

EM&M Project TPM-2 in Torino! ✨

On 4 June 2026, partners of the EM&M Project (EMotional Intelligence & Cybersecurity Environments in Youth Education) gathered for the Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) in Torino, Italy. 🤝🌍

During the meeting, we reviewed the project's progress and discussed the development of WP3 and WP4, ensuring our activities continue to support young people in building emotional intelligence and cybersecurity awareness in an increasingly digital world. 💻🛡️🧠

The EM&M Project equips youth workers and young people with innovative tools, training methods, storytelling approaches, and a gamified microlearning environment to promote safer online behaviour, emotional resilience, and digital well-being. 🚀📚

Together, we are working towards a future where young people can confidently navigate digital spaces, recognize online threats, strengthen their emotional intelligence, and thrive in both their personal and professional lives. 🌱💡

🚀 Fresh off the press: Check out the 5th Newsletter from our Student Mobility in Vienna! 🇦🇹✨

What happens when you bring students together from different countries to play around with the future of tech? 🌍💡 During our LinguiFUN student mobility week, we dove headfirst into how Artificial Intelligence can totally change the game for learning English.

📰 Here is a quick look at what we got up to in this issue:
- AI in the Classroom: We explored cool AI tools that make learning way more engaging, interactive, and, honestly, just a lot more fun. - Crushing the 7 Modules: Students leveled up their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills with a side of gamification and hands-on digital tools.
- International Teamwork: We broke into global squads to design and test our own AI language tasks, giving each other feedback and building serious communication skills.
- The Big Finale: Throughout the week, teams collaborated to build and present their very own AI-supported digital magazine

We spent time exploring the stunning streets of Vienna, soaking in the local culture, and making memories with new friends.
We wrapped up the week with a ton of high-fives and a massive sense of achievement.
