🤝 Strengthening Hindu Community Engagement in Vienna

As part of the Migrant Self-Organizations in Transition”dialogue programme**, representatives from different communities came together with Stadt Wien - Integration und Diversität to exchange experiences, discuss current challenges, and explore opportunities for greater community participation.

Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Treasurer of HRÖ-Austria, attended the dialogue at Vienna City Hall (Rathaus), alongside representatives from various communities. The meeting included Deputy Mayor and City Councillor for Integration Ms. Bettina Emmerling and Ing. Stefan Almer from Regional and Community Affairs.

During the meeting, Mr. Kumar held constructive discussions on the engagement, integration, and active participation of the Hindu community in Vienna, including opportunities for greater involvement in future programmes and community initiatives.

The discussions were positively received, with encouraging exchanges on strengthening the Hindu community’s participation in upcoming programmes, particularly through meaningful community-led initiatives. Relevant information about future programmes is also expected to be shared in advance, enabling better preparation and participation.

Such dialogue provides an important platform for the Hindu community to share its perspectives, raise relevant concerns, strengthen cooperation with local institutions, and contribute positively to Vienna’s diverse community life.

🙏 HRÖ looks forward to continued dialogue, cooperation, and active participation in future initiatives.

Members of Friends of BAPS Austria were delighted to take part in the vibrant Nagar Yatra through the streets of Paris, accompanying the sacred murtis that will be installed in the new BAPS Mandir in Paris.

The atmosphere was filled with joy, devotion and incredible energy, as devotees and well-wishers came together to celebrate India’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage. Through colourful traditions, music and a shared spirit of unity, the procession beautifully reflected the universal values of peace, service, harmony and community.

It was a truly memorable occasion for our members from Austria to be part of this historic celebration and to witness an important milestone. 🙏

From the streets of Paris, the spirit of India shone brightly! 🇮🇳❤️🇫🇷

Krishna Janmashtami Celebration | BAPS Festival de la Culture

Members of HRÖ-Austria, as part of Friends of BAPS Austria, joyfully celebrated Shri Krishna Janmashtami during the BAPS Festival de la Culture.

The celebration featured devotional activities, inspiring skits, bhajans, and spiritual reflections on the life and teachings of Shri Krishna Bhagwan. Drawing from the Bhagavad Gita, Bhagwat Puran, and Mahabharat, the programme highlighted timeless values that inspire a meaningful, purposeful, and spiritually enriched life.

18 अप्रैल 2026 को BAPS स्वामीनारायण सत्संग मंडल वियना द्वारा आयोजित प्रेरणादायी संगोष्ठी “Mindfulness Amid Mayhem” में सहभागिता HRÖ के लिए सम्मान का विषय था ।

पूज्य परमत्तत्वदास स्वामीजी के ज्ञानवर्धक प्रवचन ने आज के भागते-दौड़ते जीवन में भीतरी शांति, सचेत अवस्था, व आध्यात्मिक संतुलन पर प्रकाश डाला । इस आयोजन में ऑस्ट्रिया में हिंदू समुदाय के जीवन को सुदृढ़ करने और भविष्य में सहयोग पर भी सार्थक चर्चा हुई ।

हम आध्यात्मिकता, बुद्धिमता, व साझा मूल्यों के द्वारा समुदाय को एक साथ लाने के लिए BAPS वियना का आभार व्यक्त करते हैं ।

It was a matter of honor for HRÖ to participate in the inspiring seminar “Mindfulness Amid Mayhem” organized by BAPS Swaminarayan Satsang Mandal Vienna on 18 April 2026.

The enlightening discourse by Pujya Paramtattvadas Swami highlighted the importance of inner peace, mindfulness, and spiritual balance in today’s fast-paced world. The event also opened meaningful discussions on strengthening Hindu community life and future collaboration in Austria.

We extend our gratitude to BAPS for bringing the community together through spirituality, wisdom, and shared values.
