It's International Day of Persons with Disabilities!
The theme for this year is “Transformative solutions for inclusive development: the role of innovation in fueling an accessible and equitable world.”

Inclusion and diversity are also among the main pillars of the Erasmus + Programme, which seeks to promote equal opportunities and access, inclusion, diversity, and fairness. Organizations and participants with fewer opportunities are at the heart of these goals, and the program provides mechanisms and resources to help them achieve them. Organizations should take an inclusive approach when designing projects and activities to ensure that they are accessible to a diverse range of participants.
Svemir Centre is part of the Erasmus+ Programme and fully embraces the programme's priorities.

🎗Progress toward HIV goals has stalled in recent years, resources have shrunk, and many lives are at risk as a result. Disparity and inequity in access to health services, particularly HIV services, and disregard for human rights are among the failures that have allowed HIV to become and continue to be a global health crisis.

HIV/AIDS remains a major public health concern, affecting over 2 million people in the WHO European Region.

Every minute, one person still dies from AIDS. 💔

On , we’re calling for stronger and bolder action from world leaders to ensure access to affordable healthcare for everyone.

💧💧💧Three out of ten persons lack access to sanitation. This is bringing about needless illness and death.
The availability of clean drinking water has come a long way, but these improvements are being undermined by poor sanitation.
This needless pain and loss of life can be stopped if we offer affordable equipment and instruction on hygienic habits.

📢Today, we would like to raise awareness of SDG 5 - Gender Equality, by sharing some interesting figures from https://sdgs.un.org/goals/goal5

1. It would take another 40 years for women and men to be represented equally in national political leadership at the current pace.
2. More than 1 in 4 women (15+ years) have been subjected to intimate partner violence (641 million) at least once in their lifetime.
3. Only 57% of women (15 - 49 years) are making their own informed decision on s*x and reproductive health.
