The Filipino community is stronger together. 🇵🇭❤️ Tayo Na!

Through dedication to creating spaces for the community and passion for cultural expression, we brought Forgotten Island to Austria and shared this special story together.

🙏🏼For us, it was more than a film screening. It was a celebration of our stories, our roots and the many different ways we experience Filipino identity.

✨Luckily, RAMBAK and Ligaya share those values of creating spaces where the Filipino community can come together, connect and celebrate our culture. The movie screening of „Forgotten Island“ became one of those moments.

🎬Representation matters because Filipino and Asian communities are still often overlooked in European society. Films like this and gatherings like ours help make us visible. They remind us that we are here, that our stories matter and that we are part of this society too.

👏🏽This matters especially for the next generation. We want young Filipinos to see their culture, their faces and their stories represented — and to know that there is a community and a space for them.

🇵🇭Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported us and helped make this evening possible.

Let’s keep creating these spaces. Let’s keep showing up for each other. And let’s keep our stories alive — together. ❤️
