MOVE Week 2026 is officially completed! 💙

We were very happy to join this Europe-wide campaign again this year and promote movement, wellbeing, and community through different activities in Vienna. During the week, we organised Pilates, Yoga, hiking, and active picnics with games like volleyball, badminton, spikeball — and of course snacks and time to connect 😊

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped create such a nice atmosphere. We’re already looking forward to the next MOVE Week! 🥾🧘‍♀️🏐🌿

🚀 PRISMA Framework Kick-off: Digital Democracy Labs

We are excited to officially kick off our activities within the PRISMA Framework for Digital Democracy and Citizenship!

As part of the project, we held two Digital Democracy Lab workshops on 15 May and 26 May, bringing together young people in Vienna to explore digital rights, online security, participation, and democratic engagement.

During the workshops, participants took part in an interactive “This or That” game on online security and a digital democracy debate, reflecting on topics such as digital voting, disinformation, platform power, online activism, and participation in local democracy.

In total, 20 participants joined our first Digital Democracy Labs -- and we had many interesting discussions, critical questions, and fun moments along the way!

But this is only the beginning. Next, participants will have the chance to join further activities during the European Digital Citizenship Education Week, taking place on 14–20 September 2026, where young people and organisations across Europe will explore digital citizenship, democracy, and participation.

Through PRISMA, we aim to make digital citizenship more understandable, strengthen participation, and support young people in engaging with democratic processes in meaningful ways.

🎥 Voices from UPLAYS

Behind every workshop, activity, and event, there are people whose experiences make the programme meaningful. Through this series, we are sharing stories from participants and facilitators who have been part of UPLAYS – a programme supporting young Ukrainians in Austria through language learning, employment education, sports, and community-building opportunities.

Nataliya Sherimbetova, one of our facilitators, has been with the programme since the very beginning. Nataliya leads our job readiness workshops, where she supports participants with practical advice on finding employment in Austria, preparing for job interviews, understanding the local labour market, and building confidence in their job search.

We are grateful to have Natalia as part of the UPLAYS team and excited to share her perspective on the programme and the impact it has had on participants.

On 4 July 2026, we are bringing young people, families, partners, employers and the wider local community together at Posthalle Wien for a full day of sport, learning, culture and connection.

To make this day welcoming, smooth and fun for everyone, we are looking for motivated volunteers to join our festival team!

🌊🌿 Introducing the All Crete Blue-Green project!

We are happy to be part of this new Erasmus+ Sport project, coordinated by Anemos Sports Club from Greece together with partners from Greece, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Portugal, Germany, Poland, Austria, Sweden, Cyprus and Malta.

The project connects outdoor sport, nature, well-being and sustainability through Blue & Green Exercise activities — promoting healthy lifestyles, mental well-being, inclusion, environmental awareness and European cooperation.

The project officially started with the first online kick-off meeting on 5 May. Our next stop will be the EWOS 2026 Educational Conference in Chania, Crete, taking place from 23–25 September 2026. 🇬🇷

We are excited to join this journey and contribute to making sport more inclusive, accessible and connected to nature. 💙💚
