У Відні відбудеться особливий день для українців. 🇺🇦

У День вишиванки українська громада пройде ходою з 165-метровим Рушником Єдності — Рушником Перемоги, символом нашої сили, пам’яті, культури та незламності.

Ця подія стане продовженням великої естафети єдності: щирі вітання передасть Асоціація українських організацій Естонії, яка передасть естафету українцям у Відні.

Вишиванка сьогодні буде не лише традицією.
Це буде наш голос у світі.
Це буде знак того, що українці, де б вони не були, залишатимуться разом.
Разом єднатимемося у культурі, у гідності, у любові до України та у вірі в Перемогу.

Дякуємо всім, хто долучиться, підтримає і нестиме цей рушник як символ єдності українців у Європі.

Україна єднає. Україна перемагає. 🇺🇦

Дорогі друзі, 150-метровий рушник вже їде до Відня, щоб об’єднати нас у День вишиванки 21 травня🫶🇺🇦

Ми раді запросити Вас на урочистий Марш Вишиванок!

Цьогоріч святкування буде дійсно гучним, бо святу виповнюється аж 20 років, ювілей. І ми підготували багато активностей, які не можна пропустити.

38 організацій об’єднались, щоб подарувати Вам справжній фестиваль української культури.

Програма святкування:
18:00 - шикуймось на Maria Theresien Platz. Заряджаємось атмосферою, фотографуємось.
18:30 - із гаслом «Слава Україні» починаємо ходу. Співаймо разом українських пісень.
19:30 - святковий фестиваль на Michaelerplatz, що подарує багато сюрпризів і натхнення.

Sustained drone activity makes medical evacuations on the front lines in Ukraine extremely dangerous, endangering medical personnel and destroying vehicles. However, medical transport remains essential to giving people a chance at survival and helping them return to their loved ones.

We are deeply grateful to our friends Erika and Bernd, who together with a group of like-minded people raised funds to purchase a vehicle for evacuating the wounded. The van is already serving to the border guard unit in Kharkiv region.
Together, we help save lives!

On one of the February Sundays, we had the pleasure of bringing together friends and supporters of our community for the YOUkraine annual meeting at the Open Space Barbareum in Vienna.

The evening was dedicated to the people who make our work possible - our donors and partners who continue to stand with Ukraine. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet in person, share thoughts, and present the projects that your support has helped bring to life. The evening was filled with friendly conversations, Ukrainian live music, and traditional Ukrainian food, creating a special, warm atmosphere.

Together, we looked back on the past year of humanitarian work and the many small and large efforts that provided real help on the ground. We reminded how much can be achieved when people come together with a shared purpose. Thanks to your generosity and trust, we have been able to accomplish a great deal - delivering vehicles, equipment, and essential support to those who need it most. This journey has been truly remarkable, and it is only possible because of the community that stands behind it.

Our hearfelt thanks also go to Ukrainische Griech-Kath Kirche St. Barbara in Wien and the Open Space Barbareum for hosting us that evening and for long-standing friendship and support. Many thanks as well to Roma and Yurko for helping make the evening run so smoothly and to and for their beautiful music and singing.

Thank you to everyone who was with us that Sunday and to everyone who continues to walk the path to victory together with Ukraine!💙💛

Four years of pain, loss, separation.
Four years of struggle, courage, and fragile hope.

As part of the European screening tour of the documentary “Can You Hear Me? The Invisible Battles of Ukrainian Military Medics”, the Swedish Embassy in Vienna hosted a deeply moving evening with the directors Olena Zashko and Francis Farrell . They brought to Vienna the cold reality of life in Ukraine today – from the harshest winter in recent years to the frozen hopes for a quick end to Russia’s war against Ukraine.

The film, produced by The Kyiv Independent , is shocking in its honest and sober portrayal of people confronted daily with the brutal reality of war. Through the intimate stories of Ukrainian medics, this reality reaches us on a deeply emotional level and reminds us how little those of us at a distance can truly grasp of their everyday lives.

Yes, the resilience and endurance of Ukrainians is extremely impressive. But it is not a choice, and it is not a gift. People pay for this strength with pain, exhaustion, trauma — and with their lives.

On this day, we thank all those who defend Ukraine with tireless effort — on the frontlines, in hospitals, and within civil society. Our gratitude also goes to Sweden, to all European partners, and to the many individuals who stand in solidarity with Ukraine and make such events possible.

At the same time, we know that gratitude alone is not enough. It remains our duty to do and ask for more. To stop the bloodshed, but also to protect the fragile peace in Europe. This is only possible through Ukraine’s victory and the complete surrender of russia’s aggression.

As russia continues targeting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, power shortages have become a daily reality, especially near the frontlines.

Thanks to the support of Psychotherapists’ Initiative from Austria and Switzerland, we delivered EcoFlow and Anker power stations to frontline teams. These units now power medical equipment, communication devices and critical operations when the grid fails.

When infrastructure is attacked, your donations restore autonomy and stability. Thank you for standing with Ukraine.

Дякуємо усім, хто підтримує наші проєкти та медиків на фронті, які рятують життя ризикуючи своїм. Якісне оснащення – це швидкість, надійність і реальний шанс врятувати життя: від негайної самодопомоги з IFAK до професійної допомоги медиків.

Tactical medical supplies have been delivered to a medical team in the Kharkiv region – a paramedic backpack and individual first aid kits.

Quality equipment means speed, reliability, and a real chance to save lives – from immediate self-aid with IFAKs to advanced care provided by medics.
