🌱 From occupational profiles to practical learning pathways!

ISEKI-Food was glad to take part in the recent AGRIFOODSKILLS Micro-credential Learning Design workshop in Torino, where partners worked together to turn occupational profiles and competences into learner-centred curricula and micro-credential prototypes.

Three very hands-on days of discussion, co-design and exchange helped move the work from profiles on paper towards training that can be relevant and useful in real workplace settings.

🎯 The prototypes developed in Torino will now contribute to the next stage of the AGRIFOODSKILLS learning design process.

🌱 Sharing the I-RESTART project at ISEKI-Food 2026!

On 1 June, the I-RESTART project was presented during the ISEKI-Food 2026 Conference, attracting an audience of more than 75 participants from academia, industry, and the wider agri-food community.

During the session, Luis Mayor, Project Manager at ISEKI-Food Association, presented the project's work on:
🔹 Identifying current and emerging skill needs in the European agri-food sector
🔹 Translating these needs into practical training solutions
🔹 Supporting upskilling and reskilling for professionals across the agri-food value chain
🔹 Promoting the free online learning opportunities developed by the project

The presentation also introduced the Agri-Food Pact for Skills, highlighting the importance of collaboration between industry, education, and policy stakeholders to address future workforce challenges.
