Today I visited the friend who checks over my brass instruments and gets them back into shape... / He currently has a B-tuba in the works that is even larger than my F-tuba; it is always interesting to visit him and see what he is working on... It is truly admirable how, at 82, he still loves and crafts these instruments..

Does anyone have experience comparing the old Takamines that don't have preamps with the ones that do? I'd be really interested to hear about the sound... ( the difference in sound between the two ) Not many people have the old Takamine guitars and the new ones... but for those who do—what do you think? / I am still looking for the TSS-20 and the TSS-30 to complete the series.
